An angry mob is Bestial. ...That's a good point. An angry mob is Bestial. A mysterious wizard in her tower is Dungeonesque. A cruel and petty noble fits in with the Fay (and I am amused by the thought that iron-vulnerability is a weakness that any sufficiently capricious being will develop).

But there's nowhere in this taxonomy for a Baker. Well, a baker baking out-of-control-croissant-creatures would be color-coded purple as part of an Artificial encounter. And a baker consumed with the passion for baking, trying to bake the whole world, would be Inflamed. But an ordinary baker, no. And I should probably make at least a few regular ol' blokes to put in my block box.

I think I'll end up just color-coding them black or white, same as I'm coloring the PC blocks. This is also a convention inherited from Catacombs, though Catacombs uses white for surface-dwelling PCs, and black for catacombs-dwelling PCs. I'll just use whichever of the two looks best with the pictures I print out.𓃾 𓉐 Bacontimehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04680994241679247627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7947760354059387831.post-37779854135244997542021-05-05T03:29:33.019-07:002021-05-05T03:29:33.019-07:00This was very fun read, especially the part about ...This was very fun read, especially the part about eating the Haunting and the whole Moist category.
As for what is missing, how'd you classify regular 'civilized' people? I.e. humans and other similar opponents? The most appropriate seem to be Dungeonesque or Fay but it goes against the style and humans aren't always Grubby or Bestial enough.Kyanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12992025061183651850noreply@blogger.com
