Abulafia List to HTML generator

This frontend of this generator is based on Angus Warman's. This version uses Abulafia's format for random lists. To use the original version of this generator, click here.

Step 1:

Write your list in the following text area, and click "Generate Code".
Click the "Test" button to get a randomly drawn sample from your list.

Button Label: Button label (leave unchanged for "Generate")

Step 2:

Examples

Basic Formatting

1, If no sublists are present, then the generator creates a simple list. 1, New lines are used to separate entries. 1, Blank lines are ignored: 1, If you need a newline within your output, use "<br>" 1, E<br>X<br>A<br>M<br>P<br>L<br>E 1, The number at the start of each line indicates that entry's weight. 8, This line is <br>8 times<br> more common than the other lines.

Nested Lists

3, The lines at the start form the main list. 1, Place a sublist's name in square brackets to indicate where the [subentry] should go. 1, Start a sublist by placing it's name, prepended by a semicolon, on a new line: ;subentry 3, Each line is placed into the most recently named sublist. 1, So these lines are part of the [subentry] sublist. 5, As seen above, lists can refer to themselves. 1, If you want to refer to the main list, use [main].
